The story follows Octavia, a magicless witch from a broken coven, and Leif, a tenacious witch hunter with a desire to impress his father. When their lives unexpectedly collide, they begrudgingly agree to join forces to confront a common enemy; but when their drastically opposing views of witchcraft threaten to bring their carefully-laid plans crumbling to the ground, they’re forced put aside their differences before they lose the very thing they were never expecting to cherish—each other.
